Listerine is a well known mouth-wash marketed by Johnson and Johnson.
Challenge
The mouth-wash category is becoming increasingly competitive with the entry of many cheaper products. Listerine wanted to build on the clinical credibility of the Listerine brand by leveraging their professional support.
Solution
200 InWaiting dental practices were chosen from mid-high income areas around NZ. These practices were all identified by InWaiting as being supporters of Listerine.
InWaiting displayed Listerine sample display boxes on reception counters of these practices for 2 months. The samples were offered to patients by practice receptionists, dentists and dental hygienists. Sampling was supported by front cover InWaiting advertising on NEXT and North and South displayed in the dentists' waiting rooms.
Results
9600 samples given out by practice staff. Very positive feedback from dentists.
