Challenge

Drive awareness and trial amongst the target audience and build dentist endorsement

Solution

An InWaiting sampling campaign was run in 605 dentist waiting rooms nationwide. Over 2 months each site received:

  • 4 waiting room magazines (NZ Good Health & AWW) with InWaiting advertising on front covers
  • POS sampling unit with gum samples for display in reception areas

Sites were researched during and after campaign to assess campaign effectiveness and campaign support 

Results

 108,900 sachets of gum were sampled

  • The magazines had an estimated readership of 758,000 over 2 months
  • The campaign proved popular with both staff and patients. InWaiting research - 90% of dentists said they would recommend this product to their patients
