Maxigesic is a new pharmacy pain medicine for strong pain.
Challenge
AFT needed to get GPs aware of Maxigesic and comfortable with recommending this product. Pain relief is a highly competitive, cluttered category with high promotional expenditure.
Solution
30,000 Maxigesic sample packs were delivered by InWaiting to 500 GP practices for display in the consultation rooms of 1750 doctors. Each practice was also supplied with two waiting room magazines with front cover advertising directing patients to speak to their doctor about getting a free sample of Maxigesic. This cost effective and successful sampling campaign is being repeated in 2010.
